Upon your arrival at Uganda’s Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by a representative. You will then transfer to The Boma Hotel – an exclusive hotel set within a quiet and leafy suburb just a few minutes from the airport.

Relax after your travels at this lovely boutique hotel oasis, enjoy a delicious dinner before enjoying a relaxing night’s sleep.

Enjoy a superb breakfast before embarking on the short ride back to Entebbe Airport for your short flight to Kihihi Airstrip. The flight is only about an hour and a half, after which you’ll embark on a drive of the same length to Bwindi Lodge.

After a busy day of travel, you’ll spend your first night at Bwindi Lodge, appreciating the majestic views over the forest canopy and the soothing sound of the stream nearby.

Your day begins early with breakfast and a safety briefing before you begin your trek through the dense vegetation of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Your trek can last anywhere between 2 and 8 hours, depending on how long it takes to find a group of gorillas to observe. Once you’ve found a group, you’ll have one hour to spend watching them and their remarkably human-like antics.

You’ll return to Bwindi Lodge to freshen up and enjoy some leisure time before dinner and a restful night.

A more leisurely day awaits. Choose to spend either your morning or your afternoon exploring Bwindi’s forest on a guided nature walk. There’s a direct, private footpath from the lodge that goes into the dense vegetation.

When you’re not exploring the forest, you can relax at the lodge, enjoy a spa treatment to ease any sore muscles after your gorilla trek or take a short walk along the Munyanga River Trail to the pristine waterfalls deep in the forest.

After one last delicious breakfast, you’ll drive to Kihihi Airstrip for your flight to Entebbe Airport and your onward flight.
